On our way out of Edinburgh we stopped at the Abbey where Robert the Bruce is buried and had fun exploring the moss covered cemetery and ruins. A couple hours down the road we stopped and hiked a bit of Hadrian’s Wall (built along the Scottish border by the Romans to keep the savage Scots or Picts at the time out of England) to the tree at Sycamore Gap, made famous by Robin Hood: Prince of Theives. And poor little Finn was so sick that day but he was a total trooper for our sakes. Luckily he was feeling better in time for our pub dinner/dance party. Next stop: Our “Christmas house sit” in Ipswich!
